ATTENTION UNITED STATES SHOPPERS: Due to the United States administration's suspension of the duty-free "de minimus" threshold for all countries, including Canada, all shipments entering the U.S. must have duties prepaid before crossing the border effective August 29, 2025. This change is mandated under U.S. Executive Order 14324 and applies to all shipments from Canada. The Executive Order requires that we, in Canada, charge a 35% tariff on all orders being shipped to the U.S. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to immediately suspend sales to the United States. This will remain in place until the situation regarding tariffs and the above noted Executive Order changes. We are truly saddened to face this situation and hope that we can soon resume business with our U.S. customers, whom we value greatly.

FREE KIDS DAY IN JULY!!

FREE!  FREE!  FREE!  FREE!  FREE!  That's right.....there is absolutely no cost for this event.
Pre-registration is necessary as there is limited space.

This is a brand new event for us to share with you and we are very excited about it.  We are blessed every year by customers and clubs who donate miniature houses and items to us to pass on to deserving people.  This year we have decided to use some of those items in a unique way.  We will be offering a day of fun for kids aged 6 - 12 who want to learn about miniatures.  If you are that person or know someone who is, please contact us to register for this event.  We have limited space, so please contact us a.s.a.p. 

Here is what will happen on that day.  Each child will be given a kit with supplies to create a miniature scene.  We ask that the registrant bring a container to build the scene in if they have something they want to use.  If not, one will be provided.  Here are some ideas of containers you could use:
empty laundry detergent bottle 
favourite decorative cardboard box
wooden box
shadow box
jewellery box
dome
small suitcase or make up case
sturdy pencil case
  THRIFT STORES ARE A GREAT PLACE TO FIND CONTAINERS LIKE THIS!
If you are bringing a container,if possible, please send us a photo of it ahead of time so that we can let you know if it needs any adjustments beforehand.  Thanks!

Please bring lunches for yourself and the child as none will be provided.  Bottles of water and washroom facilities are available on site.

Each child must have a guardian with them at all times during the day.

We will have helpers on hand to assist the kids with their projects.  This will be a fun learning experience to introduce kids to the miniature hobby that we all know and love.  

How to register for this event:

-Child's name
-Child's age (must be between the ages of 6 and 12)
-Theme of their roombox/project (if known at this time).  We will do our best to tailor their kit of supplies to their theme, if at all possible, but we cannot make any promises as we are using what we have on hand.
-Child's favourite colour
