30th Anniversary Event Coming Up..................

Liz Dieleman on 11th Aug 2023

WOW.  Has it really been 30 years since I opened Grandpa's Doll House in the basement of my home?  My girls were just 2 and 4 years old.  I knew very little about miniatures except that I had loved them all my life and I wanted to help others enjoy them.  Now, I know a tad more.   I have also amassed a very large inventory of everything from soup to nuts...........literally.

In November (date not yet set) we will be holding a grand celebration event to commemorate this momentous occasion.  I am having 3 wonderful, 1/12 scale,  limited edition miniatures created that will be available to 30 lucky customers.  That's right, there will be only 10 of each item for sale.  They will be signed, numbered and with certificates of authenticity.  They will be offered for $40-$60 each and will be as follows:

Red Leather shoes by Judith Blondell, Brampton, ON

Cherry wood silver chest with cutlery by Shelley Acker, Kentville, NS

"Black Forest Cake in the Making" by Tracey Rozee-Sirrat, Berwick, NS

Photos will go on the website as soon as I have them taken but these items will not go on sale until the first day of the sale.

Piece number "1 of 12" of each item will not be for sale.  Instead, I will be offering them as prizes during the sale.  Each purchase will entitle the customer to a scratch card and these items will be won on these cards.  Store sales and online orders will each receive a scratch card. No one will know who the winner is until the card is scratched!  Isn't this going to be fun!? (rules for this contest will be outlined closer to the date of this event)

If you have any questions regarding this event, please do not hesitate to ask.  I am here to help.

In the meantime, I hope you like the new look of the website.  It is fresh and easier to navigate.  We are always looking for new ways to make your life easier.

Hugs from me to you...............Liz
