Order this chair kit to enter our Canada Day Contest with a chance to win a $50.00 Grandpa's Doll House gift certificate!
Here is how it works.
1. Order this chair kit here. NOTE: This is a kit, that requires assembly. This kit has been tested and the instructions are very clear. If you order only the kit, it will be shipped to you in a padded envelope via regular mail. If you order other items along with the kit, it will be shipped via Expedited Mail. Either way, the shipping cost will be our flat rate. The sooner you order the kit, the more time you will have to work on your entry. In the event of a Canada Post strike, the deadline for the contest entries will be extended and all kit purchasers will be notified by email.
2. Assemble the chair following the excellent instructions (with photos) included with the kit
3. Decorate the chair to celebrate the Canada Day holiday. Your chair can be a stand alone piece or be included in a vignette. You can add anything you want as long as it is in 1/12 scale. Because everyone is at a different level in their skills and abilities as a miniaturist, your entry in this contest will be judged ONLY on the originality of design, displaying Canadian pride. WE ARE PROUD OF CANADA! We, at Grandpa's Doll House want this contest to be an opportunity to celebrate Canada's birthday while enjoying this great hobby of creating miniatures. The contest is open to all of our customers who would like to celebrate with us.
4. When you have your entry finished, take good quality photos of it from all angles and email them to us at grandpasdollhouse@rogers.com. This contest closes at NOON Eastern Standard Time on July 1, 2025.
5. The judges for the first part of the contest will be Liz and Jenny of Grandpa's Doll House (no employee or relatives of employees of Grandpa's Doll House are eligible to enter this contest) The prize for this part of the contest will be a $50 gift certificate for this store.
6. The second part of the contest will be judged by the followers of Grandpa's Doll House Facebook page. The photos of the entries will be posted on the Facebook page and a poll will be held where everyone can vote on their favourite entry. The parameters of the contest will be outlined on the post. The entry with the most votes will receive a $50 gift certificate for this store. (There will be two separate winners for the gift cards)
7. Winners will be announced live on our Facebook page on Tuesday, July 8 at NOON, Eastern Standard Time (unless the deadline is extended due to a Canada Post strike)
