This document states the Delivery Policy of Grandpa`s Doll House. Your use of this site constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms please cease using this site immediately.
These terms were last revised on July 12, 2016. Grandpa`s Doll House reserves the right to amend these terms from time to time.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world.
If you are located outside of Canada or the USA, you will be responsible for any duty and/or taxes that may or may not be charged by your post office when your package arrives.
Our shipping charges to a Canadian or US address are a flat rate. We will refund all over payments ($1.00 or more) in shipping once we calculate the actual shipping cost for your order. If the actual shipping cost is higher than the flat rate, we absorb that cost. There will be NO extra cost to you.
We ship all orders via Canada Post Expedited Parcel to Canadian addresses. Packages shipped to US addresses are sent via International Air through Canada Post. However, if we happen to be going to our UPS box in Port Huron, MI within two days of receiving your order, we will take your parcel there to ship. This saves you money on shipping and we will refund you any overpayment you have made. It also saves on shipping time as the order does not have to go over the border through our mail service. (We claim it at the border instead............much faster)
If you require faster shipping than the Expedited Parcel service, please contact us and we will be happy to ship it with a faster service. (You will be responsible for the extra shipping cost in this instance)
Orders are shipped within 2-3 days of receipt. (most are same or next day, depending on time of receipt)
Average delivery time is 2-9 days within Canada. Please allow 1-2 weeks delivery for US orders. Most orders will arrive before that time.

Customs & Duty:
Duty for international orders is not controlled by Grandpa`s Doll House. This will be assessed by the Customs Department of YOUR country. We are not responsible for any damaged or lost packages shipped without insurance. You will be responsible for any taxes, duty, or customs fees for your country.
We have no control over packages once they are in the hands of the carrier. In our experience, packages can take anywhere from 2 days to 3 weeks for domestic and 6 days to 2 months for overseas. We ask for your patience if packages do not arrive quickly.
Out of Stock Items:
What if an item I`ve ordered is not in stock? Never fear, part of our success at Grandpa`s Doll House has to do with the professional relationships we have established with a large network of suppliers. Simply said, if we do not have it, we can get it! Our priority is customer satisfaction. If an item is out of stock or a shipment is delayed for any reason, we will do our best to keep you informed via email of the status until the order gets to your door and provide you with alternative options when necessary.
Substitutions will not be made without the express consent of you, the customer. If a substitution is necessary, we will check with you first. If the suggested substitution is not to your satisfaction, alternate plans will be made with you. Your satisfaction is our first priority.

Cardholder provided Information:
Our electronic purchase service requires that cardholders provide contact information (including without limitation: name, address, city, state or province, postal code, country, telephone and email), and financial information (including without limitation: name on credit card, credit card number and expiry date), and ordering information. This information may be collected and used to process the transaction by Internet Secure - intermediaries between the user, the merchant and the user’s credit card company. This is done safely through PayPal.
Information Automatically Collected:
Our Web sites keep track of usage data, such as the source address that a page request is coming from, your IP address or domain name, the date and time of the page request, the referring Web site (if any) and other parameters in the URL. The IP addresses we collect on our electronic purchase service are linked to personally identifiable information. This is collected in order to combat fraud during the purchase process. We also use this data to better understand Web site usage in the aggregate so that we know what areas of our Web site users prefer. Automatically collected information is also used for the same purposes as cardholder supplied information.
Sharing of Information:
Certain information submitted through the electronic purchase service (excluding credit card numbers) is used so that we can fulfil the order. Information is also shared with other parties necessary to complete credit card transactions, including, without limitation, credit card companies, credit card clearing houses and processors, and financial institutions.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for store credit unless the item is faulty, in which case, your will receive a replacement or refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, However, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 2 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
