Delivery Policy
This document states the Delivery Policy of Grandpa`s Doll House. Your use of this site constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms please cease using this site immediately.
These terms were last revised on Feb. 17, 2024. Grandpa`s Doll House reserves the right to amend these terms from time to time.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world, excluding the UK. At this time, we are unable to ship to the UK because of the VAT collection issues brought forth by BREXIT. We apologize for this.If you are located outside of Canada or the USA, you will be responsible for any duty and/or taxes that may or may not be charged by your post office when your package arrives.
Our shipping charges to a Canadian or US address are a flat rate. If the actual shipping cost is higher than the flat rate, we absorb that cost. There will be NO extra cost to you. Minimum shipping cost is $4.00.
We ship all orders via Canada Post Expedited Parcel to Canadian addresses. Packages shipped to US addresses are sent via International Air through Canada Post. We state all of the correct information on the material on the parcel. These shipping methods include up to $100 insurance.Please note that small orders can be sent in a padded envelope if nothing exceeds 2 cm in height. In that case, the shipping will be much less expensive, but would not include insurance.
If you require faster shipping than the Expedited Parcel service, please contact us and we will be happy to ship it with a faster service. (You will be responsible for the extra shipping cost in this instance)
Orders are shipped within 2-3 days of receipt. (most are same or next day, depending on time of receipt)
Average delivery time is 2-9 days within Canada. Please allow 1-2 weeks delivery for US orders. Most orders will arrive before that time.

Customs & Duty:
Duty for international orders is not controlled by Grandpa`s Doll House. This will be assessed by the Customs Department of YOUR country. We are not responsible for any damaged or lost packages shipped without insurance. You will be responsible for any taxes, duty, or customs fees for your country.
We have no control over packages once they are in the hands of the carrier. In our experience, packages can take anywhere from 2 days to 3 weeks for domestic and 6 days to 2 months for overseas. We ask for your patience if packages do not arrive quickly.
Out of Stock Items:
What if an item I`ve ordered is not in stock? Never fear, part of our success at Grandpa`s Doll House has to do with the professional relationships we have established with a large network of suppliers. Simply said, if we do not have it, we can get it! Our priority is customer satisfaction. If an item is out of stock or a shipment is delayed for any reason, we will do our best to keep you informed via email of the status until the order gets to your door and provide you with alternative options when necessary.
Substitutions:
Substitutions will not be made without the express consent of you, the customer. If a substitution is necessary, we will check with you first. If the suggested substitution is not to your satisfaction, alternate plans will be made with you. Your satisfaction is our first priority.

Cardholder provided Information:
Our electronic purchase service requires that cardholders provide contact information (including without limitation: name, address, city, state or province, postal code, country, telephone and email), and financial information (including without limitation: name on credit card, credit card number and expiry date), and ordering information. This information may be collected and used to process the transaction by Internet Secure - intermediaries between the user, the merchant and the user’s credit card company. This is done safely through PayPal.
Information Automatically Collected:
Our Web sites keep track of usage data, such as the source address that a page request is coming from, your IP address or domain name, the date and time of the page request, the referring Web site (if any) and other parameters in the URL. The IP addresses we collect on our electronic purchase service are linked to personally identifiable information. This is collected in order to combat fraud during the purchase process. We also use this data to better understand Web site usage in the aggregate so that we know what areas of our Web site users prefer. Automatically collected information is also used for the same purposes as cardholder supplied information.
Sharing of Information:
Certain information submitted through the electronic purchase service (excluding credit card numbers) is used so that we can fulfil the order. Information is also shared with other parties necessary to complete credit card transactions, including, without limitation, credit card companies, credit card clearing houses and processors, and financial institutions.
The user’s credit card company, PayPal is responsible for their own privacy polices and for maintaining privacy and confidentiality for all information Grandpa`s Doll House provides them. Contact Us / Email Inquiries:
Information sent to Grandpa`s Doll House via email or the website inquiry form is used for responding to and maintaining a record of the inquiry. This information may also be retained for mailing list purposes. Grandpa`s Doll House does not share this information with any other third parties.
Security:
Grandpa`s Doll House takes measures to protect and keep information secure. Our electronic purchase service is secured with SSL encryption. Grandpa`s Doll House restricts internal access to personal information to selected members of Grandpa`s Doll House staff.
Dispute Resolution
Grandpa`s Doll House is committed to resolving disputes quickly and efficiently. In the event the issue relates to private information, Grandpa`s Doll House will not use or distribute any private information without express permission. All disputes in arbitration will be resolved under the laws of Ontario, Canada.
